It’s true

The rumors were right. I am in the final stage of developing a new software exclusivly for the Macintosh platform. The product provides a very effective way to find your documents on your local network really really fast. You can even let the software inform you about changed documents through RSS. You can reach your documents through network file sharing from Mac OS X, Linux and even Windows.

Unfortunatly there is a trademark issue with the name of the application. So I may not use the name “Spotlight Server” any more.

Therefore I have to find a new name for this “soon to be released” product. It’s really hard to find a new name after I used the original name the last months. Even my todo lists are filled up with this name.

Please help me! Send me emails with suggested product names. Let the words bubble, let your creativy flow, talk with your friends, kids, parents, … and come up with a cool name. The winner who submitted the final name may choose between 100 Euro or a 512MB iPod Shuffle. If you do not find a cool name please be kind and give me feedback about those names listed below. Which one do you find the best? Deadline for suggestions is Monday, 23th January 2006 10am (CET).
